The Foundation helped built the Sutherland Secondary Schoolyard market garden in
North Vancouver, BC. The Sutherland Schoolyard Market Garden is a one-third acre urban
farm located on the front lawn of the high school. It’s a project in collaboration with the
Edible Garden Project.
The schoolyard market garden is home to over 60 raised garden beds that grow produce for
sale. Children experience the seed-to-table process and learn about food.
