El 2017 marca un momento emocionante para la agricultura y la jardiner\u00eda urbana. Durante el a\u00f1o pasado, nuestra Fundaci\u00f3n ha estado muy atenta a las tendencias, tomando nota de ideas innovadoras nuevas y emergentes. Mientras los jardineros y agricultores urbanos se preparan para la pr\u00f3xima temporada, pensamos que val\u00eda la pena tomarse un momento para celebrar algunos de los conceptos nuevos y fascinantes con los que nos hemos encontrado, con la esperanza de inspirarles a pensar m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de lo convencional, de las macetas y de los terrenos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>4 conceptos innovadores de huertos urbanos para inspirarte a ti y a las futuras generaciones<\/h2>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Huertos comunitarios de riego autom\u00e1tico<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El nombre se vende por s\u00ed solo para cualquier proyecto de huerto o agricultura urbana que ande corto de recursos humanos. Este concepto surge directamente de nuestro propio patio trasero, en North Vancouver. Los fundadores de un huerto comunitario local vieron un dilema. Reconocieron que, aunque el clima de su comunidad es propicio para cultivar alimentos durante todo el a\u00f1o, la mayor\u00eda de los productos que los residentes consumen son importados de fuentes internacionales. En un esfuerzo por hacer que la comunidad sea m\u00e1s autosostenible, dise\u00f1aron una serie de soluciones de agricultura urbana. Al hacerlo, aprovecharon un nuevo concepto que presenta cajas de jard\u00edn de cedro hechas a medida, equipadas con revestimientos impermeables aptos para alimentos que se separan dentro del jard\u00edn, donde la tierra est\u00e1 arriba y el agua abajo. El concepto comenz\u00f3 con un estudiante de la Universidad Ryerson (Toronto) que declar\u00f3: \u201cCuando era ni\u00f1o, pensaba que todo el mundo ten\u00eda acceso a comida fresca\u201d. Un \u00e1mbito en particular est\u00e1 en el centro de atenci\u00f3n: las universidades.
