A los ni\u00f1os les cuesta trabajo relacionarse con sus compa\u00f1eros si tienen baja autoestima. <a href=\"https:\/\/seewhatgrows.org\/us\/es\/community-garden-grow-besides-food\/\">Investigaci\u00f3n reciente<\/a> demostrar que los programas de jardiner\u00eda escolar pueden tener un impacto directo en el aumento de la autoestima, adem\u00e1s de mejorar otras se\u00f1ales de salud emocional y del comportamiento:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cAdem\u00e1s, los estudios demuestran que cuando los ni\u00f1os tienen contacto con la tierra durante actividades como cavar y plantar, tienen <strong>estados de \u00e1nimo mejorados<\/strong>, mejores experiencias de aprendizaje y <strong>disminuci\u00f3n de la ansiedad<\/strong>. Lo m\u00e1s importante, el <strong>autoestima<\/strong> que un ni\u00f1o experimenta al comer un pepino perfecto que \u00e9l mismo cultiv\u00f3 no tiene precio.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<cite><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/parents\/thrive\/gardening-with-kids-how-it-affects-your-childs-brain-body-and-soul\">PBS Kids<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cuando los ni\u00f1os tienen confianza y se sienten mejor consigo mismos, es m\u00e1s probable que est\u00e9n abiertos a conectarse con los dem\u00e1s dentro y fuera de su clase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La jardiner\u00eda escolar desarrolla las habilidades sociales de los j\u00f3venes y puede resolver conflictos<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El esfuerzo colaborativo y cooperativo de administrar un jard\u00edn escolar con compa\u00f1eros de clase <strong>fomenta la comunicaci\u00f3n interpersonal positiva y la participaci\u00f3n<\/strong> entre pares j\u00f3venes. Un estudio de\u00a0<strong>Centro Nacional de Informaci\u00f3n Biotecnol\u00f3gica (NCBI)<\/strong>\u00a0encontr\u00f3 que <a href=\"https:\/\/seewhatgrows.org\/us\/es\/key-benefits-outdoor-learning-education-children-teens\/\">75-93% de ni\u00f1os<\/a> informaron que las actividades de aprendizaje al aire libre (como la jardiner\u00eda escolar) los calman cuando est\u00e1n enojados. Cuando los pensamientos est\u00e1n tranquilos y serenos, los ni\u00f1os participan, interact\u00faan y aprenden mejor unos de otros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rompe las barreras de las diferencias percibidas<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A los ni\u00f1os que viven con desaf\u00edos f\u00edsicos y\/o cognitivos a menudo les resulta muy dif\u00edcil conectarse con sus compa\u00f1eros y formar amistades. Si bien se han logrado grandes avances para fomentar una generaci\u00f3n de adolescentes m\u00e1s inclusiva, los ni\u00f1os con capacidades limitadas suelen ser excluidos de muchas situaciones sociales, dentro y fuera de la escuela. Al reunir a los ni\u00f1os en <a href=\"https:\/\/seewhatgrows.org\/us\/es\/how-to-make-your-community-school-garden-even-more-inclusive\/\">programas de jardiner\u00eda inclusiva<\/a>, las escuelas crean entornos que promueven la interacci\u00f3n social para todos los involucrados.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/her.oxfordjournals.org\/content\/23\/6\/952.full\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Un estudio<\/a>\u00a0de los ni\u00f1os con \u201cdiscapacidades\u201d que participaron en la jardiner\u00eda descubrieron que sus habilidades de comunicaci\u00f3n no verbal y su conciencia situacional mejoraron.
