Photo gracieuset\u00e9 de @imagiNet sur Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>Voici plus de d\u00e9tails de notre blogueuse invit\u00e9e Emily Jubenvill @the_egp :<\/p>\n<p>Le jardin mara\u00eecher de la cour d'\u00e9cole Sutherland est une \u201c ferme \u201d urbaine d'un tiers d'acre situ\u00e9e sur la pelouse avant du lyc\u00e9e. Le projet de jardin comestible (EGP) de la North Shore Neighbourhood House g\u00e8re le jardin mara\u00eecher de la cour d'\u00e9cole Sutherland et a collabor\u00e9 avec l'\u00e9cole et la communaut\u00e9 pour l'\u00e9tablir en mars dernier seulement. Une pelouse autrefois sous-utilis\u00e9e abrite d\u00e9sormais plus de 60 bacs de culture sur\u00e9lev\u00e9s qui produisent des fruits et l\u00e9gumes destin\u00e9s \u00e0 la vente. Les revenus de la vente des produits contribuent \u00e0 r\u00e9mun\u00e9rer un agriculteur \u00e0 temps plein et \u00e0 couvrir les frais d'exploitation du jardin mara\u00eecher. Les enseignants et les \u00e9l\u00e8ves travaillent avec l'\u00e9quipe de l'EGP pour trouver des moyens de participer \u00e0 la vie du jardin et de l'utiliser comme une salle de classe en plein air. Au cours du mois qui a suivi l'ouverture du jardin, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la construction de bacs sur\u00e9lev\u00e9s, \u00e0 la plantation d'un jardin pour pollinisateurs et contribuent \u00e0 la conception d'une salle de classe ext\u00e9rieure. L'\u00e9quipe de l'EGP forme les enseignants \u00e0 l'utilisation de l'espace, fait des pr\u00e9sentations dans les salles de classe et anime des sessions de cours dans le jardin. Cynthia prom\u00e8ne son chien tous les jours pr\u00e8s de la ferme Loutet et savait que son \u00e9cole avait besoin de quelque chose de semblable sur ses pelouses avant inutilis\u00e9es.
